Our school has a play coming up: Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest and a Filipino translation, Ang Kahalagahan ng Pagiging Seryo.

Here's the poster I made. It was quite challenging to do. Hope you like it. :)

The top most palm tree is a Magurno brush. Most images from Sxc.hu.

The design is nice. It didn't remind me of charlie and the chocolate factory, but I don't associate it with the victorian era either. ;P Very colourful collage of stuff and nice arrangements with a good solid straightforward composition.

crits: The background is too dark. There isn't enough contrast to distinguish the form of the gent. It's not there immediately, but you get it after a while.
The list of dates are too dark as well. They blend in with the background too much and don't have enough contrast. This matters if you didn't use a pantone guide, as the printing might not get the colours correctly and you have issues with it being unreadable.
