Too much hexagons. :/

Watercolors and gold acrylic, 8.5 x 11” rough (hot) press. Hexagons added in Photoshop, by the way.

A wondrous piece with a design style that transcends the imagination of the viewer into something truly breathtaking. The various wisps of hair on the female subject as well as the glossy reflectivity on the strands stand out so well and bring out the overall quality of her other features. The almost mood-less expression on her face display significant detail upon it and really draws your eye to it. The branches growing from her locks with a small bird perched upon it ads that much more personality to your overall presentation and really grabs my attention. This pieces is a near-seamless blend of mystery and artistic tranquility that will dance within your imagination forever. Beautiful work. :D

I saw this on eat sleep draw!

I love the colors. I'd actually love to see a version without the hexagons, but they both are good. I like the nature stuff going on too.

Thank you so much! :)

Here's what it looks like without hexagons: [link] There's almost no difference but I guess it's a bit more dramatic with some on. :XD:

This is wonderful! I love how calm and still vibrant you colours are.
It was an interesting idea to add those hexagons, still I would be interested in how the picture would look like without them. Just for learning purpose. :)

This is so nice, too... Can´t decide what looks better. Both looks amazing! :)
You should concider doing a tutorial, I guess many people would be really happy if you did.
Great technique. Many people kill watercolour, if you know what I mean. You don´t.
