I was asked to explain this but I couldn't explain it.

It's probably all about day dreaming, and how easy it is to fall back to life.

Ah I don't like explaining my works because I don't understand them myself. ;_; I wasn't supposed to exhibit this because I didn't like it very much when I first finished it. The painting was happily purchased. *u*

I would agree with many here on how the background is quite lovely; I love the little touches added to it (such as the text and the flowers). Plus, I love how "soft" the coloring is too; it fits the mood of the piece well. ;v; I think the mysteriousness in this piece's message adds to its allure. Everyone can make their own story for it.

sometimes we artists are our own worst critic; we may not like what we produce at the end of things but oftentimes it's not as bad as we think it is.

Glad to hear someone happily bought this piece. It's certainly charming and lovely, especially on the flowers and her daydreaming.
